GLI Awarded $484,000 IMLS Grant to Launch

Nationwide Mentoring Platform for Museum Leaders

View Press Release

In early 2020, the Museum Leadership Institute at Claremont Graduate University (MLI@CGU) will launch POLARIS: The Museum Mentor Network, a new nationwide online mentoring platform. Professionals working in or with museums across the sector will be able to participate in this opportunity to create meaningful and collegial relationships, and to develop their leadership skills by being mentored or mentoring others.

Participate in a Fieldwide Survey about Mentoring

You are invited, as a U.S. museum professional, to share your thoughts and interests around mentorships. Your input is appreciated and will help to develop the POLARIS platform and inform about potential participants. This survey will only take about 10 minutes. Please complete this survey by Friday, December 20, 2019. You can OPT IN at the end of the survey if you’d like to receive updates regarding joining POLARIS as an online mentor or mentee.
