The Getty Leadership Institute (GLI) at Claremont Graduate University (CGU) provides educational opportunities designed to enhance the leadership of experienced museum professionals and strengthen institutional capabilities.
The renowned Getty Leadership Institute for executive leaders is entering its 38th year. The program is designed to help experienced top-level executives become better leaders to strengthen their institutions’ capabilities and advance the field.
NextGen 2017 is a blended-learning experience for the museum field’s emerging top talent. The program is designed for mid-level staff with three to five years of museum management experience and extraordinary leadership potential as recognized by senior-level executives.
The Getty Leadership Institute faculty comes from top ranking institutions including the USC Marshall School of Business and the Peter F. Drucker and Masatoshi Ito Graduate School of Management at Claremont Graduate University. We work with practitioners and leaders in the areas of audience engagement, development, and leadership.
